Very, very slow search/P8 service pack 1

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Paradox 8, resolving one problem and creating another. Searching a table is now painfully slow. What could be the cause.

Also, does anyone know if the service pack for Paradox 8 can be found outside the Corel site, where it seems to have been discontinued?

BTW this is PIII, W2k with about 600 mg/ram. Shouldn't be slow.

Well, it looks like they're redesigned their web site yet again. *Sigh*

Fortunately, it looks like their FTP site is still in business. Paradox 8 updates can be found in the ftp://ftp.corel.com/pub/Paradox/paradox8/ folder.
