Very Urgent

Hello All TeradaraExperts,

I installed a Teradata Demo in my machine and when i try to start the Database Window(DBW) initially it says "Attemting to connect to CNS" then after some seconds says "Connecting user Administrator..." then stops. It doesn't goes further. My friend says finally it should be displaying "The System is Quiescient and some other messages". Should we make some settings to get those messages.

Windows 2000 or XP? if it is XP you need the pacth which is on the FAQ page.

its Windows 2000 and the Teradata Demo Version that i'm evaluating is Teradata Release 3. any solutions.

Hi,
Order a new version of the demo. The 3.0.1 version won't run on WIndows 2000. This Demo was released at Partners 3 years ago. I am surprised you have a that version.

The latest version in v2r4.1.
