This one I have not come across before.

I have a customer who has a Partner ACS R6 Processor in slot 3, 308 card in slot 1, 012 card in slot 2, Partner Messaging in slot 4 and 206 card in slot 5.

Ext 30 (port 4 of the 012 card) does not turn up the phone its connected to at the desk. But, when I plug the phone directly into the port it works fine. (here is the strange part)without changing any of the wiring between the switch and the desk, I can move the line cord from ext 30 to any other ext on the system and the phone comes up, working fine.

Has anyone ever come across this before.

maybe an exorcism would do the trick, you could try a different 012 card if you have to see if it is a port issue with a certain cable length that creates an anomaly.

If you can't be good, be good at it!

The 012E module power supply is okay to power 12 ETR ports without problems. If you have large phones such as 18D's & 34D's with simultaneous off-hook conditions with speaker volumes set high you will overload the power supply.

Check to see if the LED display dims or speakerphone volume is lowered. If this is the case hang up one of the phones and check the LED's.

As a solution try moving some of the sets to the 206 or 308 card and put 6 button or non-display phones on the 012 Card.

Then, have a simply outrageous day.
