Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help me with this.

os: solaris 5.8

I've just killed our weblogic service!

I started it as follows:

logged in using my own account.

$sudo su -

#/etc/rc2.d/S99weblogic start

then I tail -f'd the startup script. Fine its all coming up ok.

But! When I ctrl+c the tail weblogic dies!

I cant understand why this happens. Ive since learnt that if I do a sudo bash and then do the startup the ctrl c doesnt do any harm.

Now I guess this must be down to environment variables of some kind - but cant see anything obvious. Its bound to be something really obvious!!!

Im very confused - anyone have any answers?

Thanks

Tim

the /etc/rc..... are started in background by booting
you are not in backgroung, so ^C kills it
try

nohup /etc/rc.... start &
-----------
when they don't ask you anymore, where they are come from, and they don't tell you anymore, where they go ... you'r getting older !
