Hi,
We had a Compaq dlt 35/70 with a Compaq dlt 15/30 daisy
chained to it connected on the internal SCSI of a Compaq
Proliant ML530. With this configuration we experienced
normal backup speeds. Now we've changed the Compaq
35/70 dlt for a Compaq dlt 40/80 dlt and we are experiencing
very slow throughput. The throughput dropped from an average
120 MB/min to 20 MB/min.
This what we did/have :
- We changed only the DLT drive not the cables
- We installed the Compaq DLT 40/80 driver in Windows 2000
- We are using Backup Exec for NT and Windows 2000 8.6
Any ideas what could be wrong ?
