Hi everyone
We are currently using BE 10.1d (SP1) to back up a number of Windows 2003 (SP1) servers using the remote agent as well as the Backup Exec SQL and Domino agents to backup the SQL and Lotus Domino databases.
Lately I have noticed a sudden deterioration in the backup rate i.e. for our Domino and NAS servers. For our SQL server no problem is being experienced, in fact we are getting very good backup rates.
For example a month ago the backup rate for our Domino server was 1.5 GB/min and these past 2 weeks it has gone down to 380 MB/min! There hasn't been a large increase in files or data size. From 103 GB it has gone up to 107 GB.
I've updated the NIC drivers but to no avail. Nothing has changed on these servers so I cannot understand this gradual deterioration in backup rate speeds.
Has anyone encountered this problem before?
Thanks!
