Hi friends,
we have a worldwide exchange environment. That are around 70 servers running NT4 with Exc 5.5 incl. SP4. 67 of the 70 are working very fine, but the other 3 have incredible problems with receiving mails. The topology of the mailnetwork is: we have 1 cluster in vienna wich is responsible for all mails comming to our domain, the cluster forwards all mails to the server wich contains the recipient. So each server has his own site.
As written, on 67 servers (all are identic configured) the system is working very well. For the other 3 the mailtransport is very very slow, many mails stay for many hours in the queue and nothing happens with them. Just 4 till 5 mails per day get through.
A network problem can be excluded, the performance to the servers is acceptable.
Does anyone has an idea?
greets mike
