I am using an Oracle SQL Driver, working remotely. When I try to add a stored procedure (we have 800 of them), Crystal takes hours to bring up dialog box (data explorer) to add a stored procedure. If I do this operation locally at work (high speed access), operation takes very little time... I am using a 56kbps dial in, and cannot understand why it would take so long. Is there a way to limit the search on stored procedures (like table searches)?
