VERY new to Avaya Definity here. Customer has multiple sites, some have Definity, others have Cisco, or Nortel.

When callers dial 911, calls are routed first to a recorded greeting that reminds the caller they dialed 911 and if it is a true emergence to stay on the line, otherwise hang up. The caller is then connected to the PSAP, and also gets connected internally to the Security department.

I was asked to provide info on how this is all accomplished so that another site can duplicate the process, and I have found in "list ars analysis" that calls are sent to rout pattern 10. Route pattern 10 first group is 10, second group is 24.

From there, IDK where to look to see how this announcement gets played first, before sending the call thru. I understand that because the dialed digits are marked as Alert calls, this is what triggers the connection with Security.

Where else should I look?

Likely done though digit conversion. Try "list ars digit-conv" and "list aar digit-conv" and see if you see some clues in there.

lopes1211, there are no entries remotely similar to 911 in the AAR or ARS digit conversion table.

maybe try a list usage extension 911, suspect may be using a vdn to a vector
