Very many "imfile-state" files under /var/log

Hello,
in my IPO (11.1.3.0.0 Build 23) there are a lot of the following files under /var/log/ "108 Mar 15 23:47 imfile-state:3957132:d39938628ea93d26" with the following content " { "filename": "\/var\/log\/audit\/audit. log", "prev_was_nl": 0, "curr_offs": 8388759, "strt_offs": 8388759 }"
Can anyone tell me what these entries mean?
