I have a client that has a BCM50 with an external music/message source. I can get some respectable volume with my test set on binding post 13, which is the port for MoH I beleive, but I get very low volume when I test it on one of the phones (calling an extension and then getting put on hold)
I have tried both sides of the 1A connector on the BIX feild and get a good signal but nothing through the sets.
I have also checked programming, "Background Music: Y" and "On Hold: Music"
Can anyone shed some light on this issue?
Thanks
Dan

What's your music source? Make sure it presents an impedance of 600-900 ohms. Of course, there is also the volume control on the music source. Failing all of that, check the connector to make sure there are solid connections.

And of course, the big one.........is it patched current for your software release?
