very long "words"

anyone know how to deal with something like this:

cause on some of my forums/comment systems users like to do that kinda stuff and that messes up my tables...

try to 'explode' the text on spaces, so you have only the words. Then loop through the words, checking their length (with the strlen function). That will do the trick.
