vertual user generator

I was trying to record a vertual user generator script using the load runner 7.0 .

I had a IE browser 6.0 . so i have installed the IE 5.0 to make it compatable to record a script. but now when i have started recording i have got a error as such

" you have instructed web recorder not to invoke a browser (option > broser tab) you must change the client proxy settings ( for http and https ) to :

Host :********
port :7777

click ok to start recording
click cancle to obort recording .

I appreceate if any one how can solve my problem .

Hello Ravputta,

In VUGen go to Tools > Recording Options . Select Browser tab on that & select the radio button for the option "Use Default Browser" ....i think this should yr problem.

One querry from my side ...Can u tell me if recording option is supported in ie5.5 .if yes then which all versions of loadrunner ?
