I want to advance the PR of a relatively few internal pages optimized for keywords over the rest of my pages by preferential cross-linking within my 260-page site. Is this a good idea, or is it better to keep all my internal pages at the same PR by heavy, non-preferential cross-linking? QUESTION 2: Is it a bad idea to have pages more than 2 levels deep from the index page? It seems that this PR plan works well (i.e., my preferred pages leak less PR) if my site map is 2 levels deep, which puts many pages 3 or 4 levels deep.
