I am trying to use vertical text. I have gone through the help and all of our reference books. I can type horizontal text and rotate it but this turns the letters sideways (not acceptable).

Thank you

Why not just type each letter with a paragraph break after each one the format the alignment for centering? Mary :)

Rule 1: Don't sweat the small stuff.
Rule 2: EVERYTHING is small stuff!! X-)

I have tried this, however in many of the fonts I use this does not work. I have to adjust the spacing and the letters look like they are not evenly spaced. For example the word Colorado. In many fonts the "l" will hit the bottom of the first "o" and the "a" the top of the "d". To fix this I have to increase the spacing between the letters and then the letters that where not originally overlapping look like they are much too far apart. Also there are times I need to fit this vertical lettering to a curve or path. To do this with paragraph returns each letter must be place individual. If I use fit to path the program just changes the text to horizontal type.

Thank you for the suggestion though.
