Vertical Text in Lotus Notes on a Mac

I have 2 users that when they send emails, it comes in to that person as vertical text. When they go to reply back, it goes back to horizontal.

Is there anything that can be done about this?

I have exactly the same problem, but no solution to it. I can't even imagine where it comes from, when i right click in den body of the mail it seems to be a table in there which might have a vertical text alignment to it.

Do you have a solution? The only thing i can add to this, is that the user has Microsoft Office 2004 installed on his Snow Leopard MacBook Pro
