vertical % size of a table in a table in netscape ?

Is there any way to force a vertical % size for a cell in a table in an other table.
Netscape accepts vertical % size of cells in a single table.
The problem appears when u include this table in a bigger one, for example to align it
with other tables. Then netscape refuses to consider the vertical % sizes.
I know this is a typical problem in Netscape, not in IE.
But i am sure there is a way to do it.
If anyone knows the magic trick.
