How can a use a vertical page break in Crystal Reports v 8? I have a header row, 4 columns, [page break] then repeat the header row on second page, 4 columns, [page break}, etc. The number of columns will vary depending on the customer so I need to be able to use a formula with a count of columns >4, then page break at 4th colum.

I don't think you can count columns in CR.
However, if the columns fill the available page space it should automatically go to the next page. So, you could try sizing the right margin so that it forces the page break at the 4th column.

Also, you could try counting the number of records that would make up 4 columns, and breaking on that number. This will only work if each record is a fixed depth. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting
