I have an existing intranet, complete with nav bars top and left side.
On the home page I'd like to have a left hand side nav bar which is different to the existing one on all the other pages of the intranet.
How do I do this?
Do I do something with the shared borders...or something else completely, or can it not be done?
Many thanks

Depending on what you are looking for yes you can do this, but their are different ways.

If the pages are inside the site itself then this can be done by simply double clicking on the shared border part on the left hand side of the screen, and changing the tree node, to whatever you want them to be, ie child nodes, Home, etc, or sister nodes..(pages at same level)

Or you can just edit the shared border on the left hand side, and add the images/words you want to. you can then add the hyperlinks, this will then be automatically updated on all the pages.

hope this helps
