I have a Vertical Edge system that drives me nuts.
One phone had forwarding to a night number and they wanted to change it.
So I did. The old forwarded number was long distance and so is the new one.
I did a test to see if I could do it several days prior to actually making the permanent change. Everything seemed to go well and I changed it back to the old number to wait for the go-ahead.
When I did all that the People on the far end no longer could see who was calling in the first place.
It should work like this: Calling party dials our office and it's forwarded to our susidiary and the subsideriary can see who the caller was.
Only now it doesn't work.
I permanently made the changes and it still doesn't ID.
How come?
Thanks in advance for your help,
-Randy
