versions of Presentation Server 4

Hello,

We are currently running Citrix Metaframe XPe and would like to upgrade to the latest version of Citrix Presentation Server 4.

I would like to know if there are different versions of Presentation Server 4 like XP had or is it just a single version now. I am not to clear on this from Citrix web site.

Yes there are multiple versions in fact the same ones as in XP.

4 is the current version
i beleive 4.5 is in the almost immediate pipeline.

as for difference i have xp farm , and a ps4

4 has some benefits but not enough for me to upgrade the xp farm - it has better support for web access , printing and policies are far better, setup of licences is far better. stability about the same

you can do scanning on 4 though which was just impossible previously without expensive third parties
