Hi - my company has been using Creative Suite for several years and last year purchased CS5 only to find out that Version Cue was no longer included or supported. We then tabled the upgrade for a while. We are now needing to upgrade and I am having a difficult time finding something to replace Version Cue. Evolphin was recommended but they won't sell the product to someone with fewer than 3 users - we have 2 :( We mainly use InDesign and Photoshop and after years of using this have hundreds of files and all their versions that we need to transfer to the new program. Can anyone recommend versioning software that will work for us? thank you

The Version Cue concept isn't as dead as one might think. The problem with it was that everything was smashed into a single service/function. This prevented interoperability with other versioning systems. So Adobe is separating the interface and storage of VC. We now have the interface of Adobe Drive that connects to CMIS storage.

You might find joy by mixing Alfresco community edition with Adobe Drive.

Beware that this is all still a bit rough. Some apps interact well with check-in. Other apps require manual check-in. There's plenty of room for growth for this technology.
