It is not made for that version but it could work
Why not using the phone manager that belongs to the version you have ???

yes, i have 4.0(18???i think) on my laptop, and have used it on many different versions. all the versions have probably been from 3.1 up. i just used it for testing and such, so if anything goes wrong just remember you have a version that doesnt match.
