How can I have a label display the version number of my deployment?
If I use environment.version.tostring I don't get the same number that I have set as my version number in my deployment project properties...

Take a look at the System.Version class. It has members Major, Minor, Revision that you are probably looking for.

The deployment version is different from the application version. You will have to set them seperatly. And I don't think you can get the version from the deployement in your app.
