Hey!
I need to move a couple reports backwards from version 9 to version 8.5. I have both copies of CR, but don't know how to do it. Does anyone know?

You can't get there from here. Our friends at Crystal decisions decided to make major changes to the structure of the *.rpt file. So it is NOT backwards compatible. Sounds like a good idea for a nifty $49 utility! Right guys?

So you will have to re-recreate the report is CR 8.5 by printing out the specs and then re-entering them all. Check out Report Miner as a good tool to help you do this. Howard Hammerman,
