Version Control - Sharepoint - SQL Server 2005

We are using SQL 2005.

I am looking for version control on our SSIS Packages, SSRS Reports.

We are already using Sharepoint to store all our documentation and shared documents.

Is Sharepoint a good option for version control? If so explain and example of how a DBA should use this to audit code changes and if possible to rollback changes.
