Hi Guys,

I have a decommissioned server that had W2K3 Server SP2 on it and want to do a clean install of W2K3 Server from the original OS CD. The server has raid 1 setup but for the life of me I can't get the server to boot from the cd drive at all.

The work around is to try and run the install from within windows but every time I try to run the install, it wont let me because the version on the CD (original) is older than the version currently installed (SP1).

Is there some kind of hack that I can use to make it ignore the version control so I can do a clean install?

As always, any help is appreciated.

Thanks Mark. It's been a long time since I've done that. Can you give me a clue on creating the floppy? Cheers.
