Version 9 - New Install

I am about to do my first install of V9 on a new server. It's a 2000 server with a LTO 17 slot autoloader.

Should I apply the 9.01 patch? I'm always scared of new patches because of CA's past recalls. But this one's been out a month. I can't find any comments on it.

9.01 is now shipping as a general build. There are quite a few useful bug fixes in it so I'd recommend you apply it.

I have been running 9.01 for a few weeks now and haven't seen any problems.
