Version 3 - Problem with All Versions

Hi folks,

Just been trying to fix an IP406 (first model) which has a really frustrating issue.

The unit runs on PRI E1 (two PRI cards). When on version 2.1 (35) everything operates as normal. When it is on ANY version of 3 including beta 58, outgoing calls to ANY number provide a ringtone. For example, if you call 4567, it rings! Engaged mobile phones ring! Out of service numbers ring!

Rolled it back to 2.1 and it works fine.

Has anyone seen this, and can anyone test it to tell me if it happens to them?

This site needs v3 to operate ContactStore.

You would need to raise a case with AVAYA i would think. I would also run a Trace and look at the ISDN RX and TX L3 you are receiving on V3 vrs 2.1. Avaya will need this. Also try defaulting your switch to Factory Default when on 3 and test.
