Hi,

I have a box that is currently using Version 3.23 of MySQL.
I want to install a version 4 along with version 4.
This will be running on a windows machine.
Does anyone know if this is possible or will it cause problems for the already installed version 3?

Will any shared dlls be over written for example?

Thanks
Marcus

You can run both as CGI, or one as CGI and one using mod_php, but I don't think you can run both as modules.

I don't think PHP is an issue. I see no reason why you couldn't run both, as long as they don't interferer with one another. Use separate ports, data stores, pidfiles, etc., and you should be fine.
