Stupid question, but it is causing me such a headache that I thought that I'd throw it out there to the group!

I have a graphic in Corel Draw 11, but my recipient only has version 10, and swears up and down that a Corel 11 graphic will not, under any circumstances, open in version 10.

Is this true? If not, can someone walk me through the process of opening my graphic?

Thank you so much for your help!

Generally speaking, a file created in a newer version of software will not be openable in an older version of the same software. There's usually something new in the technology of the updated software (otherwise, why would there be a newer version?) which the older version cannot interpret.

What to do? I don't have either V10 or 11, but in V9 there is an option in the save dialog box for version number. Save it back down to V10.

The same option is available in version 11. If all else failes, save it as a Corel Exchange file (CMX).
