I just changed out my blackberry for a new one, and Verizon told me that the price of the unlimited data plan for the blackberry has been reduced in price. This happened in December, and old accounts were not converted to the new price.

If you've got a Verizon phone give them a call and tell them that you want the less expensive unlimited data plan for the blackberry.

Note that the VZW price change does NOT apply if you use BES.

Or live outside the US :)

Because you get either the BIS or the BES data plan...

No BES data plan = no BES.

Now that just sucks. Figures it's Verizon.

It's not just Verizon...AFAIK, all of them have two tiers...one for BIS, one for BES.

How much less $$$? I have 6700 Windows mobile but I am considering ditching it for a BB device instead. This will certainly factor in to my decision. :)
-Thanks, Danny
