verizon air card on laptop w/ RH9 problem

I am trying to get a verizon air card to work on a RH( install on my HP laptop. When I insert the card into the slot ,I get :

Enabling device 02:00.0 (0000 -> 0002)
spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7
usb.c USB device not accepting new addredd=2 (error=-110)
hub.c: Cannot enable port 1 of hub 1, disabling port.
hub.c: Mabey the USB cable is bad?
usb.c: USB device 3 (vend/prod 0xf3d/0x112) is not claimed by any active driver.


Can anyone help?
