Why do you need a script to do it? Are there hundreds of them or something?
It may be as simple as vxassist -g diskgroup remove volume volumename, unless you have DCO and/or DRL logs attached to the volumes or anything.
If you show us a vxprint -th volumename of one of the more complex examples that would help...
