I am running Veritas backup exec 8.6, win 2000 server and Oracle agent. Everything setup accordingly. After I ran an online backup, users can't login and message said "unexpected database version detected." And when we check the svgmgr in Oracle, it said "version -1, require newer version" and a database, User001.dbf, is locked. We checked, no user login and backup already stopped. The backup is 100% but failed. Our DB consultant never encountered this problem, any clue would be appreciate.
