Hi,
We are running Veritas 3.4.1 (Patch 4a) and are seeing some issues with the standard reporting tool.
After a night of successful backups we run the "Status of backups" report however where there should be a list of all the classes that ran the night before we are finding random classes missing from the list. About 1/3 of the classes are not listed but checking activity monitor the jobs ran and completed successfully.
We have checked out the db and the job id’s exist, we can also see the images for the missing jobs and recover data from the backups.
Any ideas why they are missing in the reporting tool? Or what the reporting tool queries to get its information?
The jobs that are missing are for both NT4 and UNIX media servers and the problem only started 2 nights ago (before that all the classes were listed correctly)
