Hello! I'm researching the pros and cons of using Veritas' VSP option. Can anyone provide me with information on this topic?

Pros - Can backup open files

Cons - Need enough free disk disk space on each volume for it to work properly.

Pros - Backup most open files, still some exceptions.

Cons - Space, time, slower backups, more possibility for timeout failures.

Generally - I disable VSP as I do not like the loss in performance.
