Veritas mac agent

I am trying to install the Veritas Backup Exec agent on a MAC OS X 10.3 server. I am getting a specific error:

Resource Advertiser out of memory 2.

The agent seems to be installed and states that it is running and ready to accept requests but it is not showing up as a MAC agent on my backup media server. I have tested this on another MAC server and there was no issue. Agent installed and starting running no problem.

Any thoughts would be great. Thanks in advance.

Check the hostname and the registered DNS address.

I get this alot on laptops. They come into the office, the registered DNS and hostname mismatch is usually the problem.

Though since this is a server I'd bet its statically assigned. Confirm that hostname matches DNS for that IP.
