I am sorry if this is not the correct forum to ask this question and from looking at the
different threads I am way out of my realm of exeperience. My problem is I purchased
Backup exec 4.2 little over a year ago because I was looking for software that would
let me back up my system and then do incremental backups as I go. So over the past year with constant downloads and other things my system gets bloated and I reformat my hard drive. After one or two formats when I tried this last time to install 4.2 the problem showed up. The install appeared to go ok but I did notice it did not ask me for the serial number or key code, whichever it it called. When I try to do a back up I notice that the recovery wizard is grayed out and if I try to do a straight back up I get a " You do not have permission " message. Sorrry again for the long post to get to this question > Is this software written where it has only so many installs and then becomes unuseable or am I overlooking something.
Thank You
