Veritas Backup Exec 10 Sees a Tape as Loaded

The software "sees" the tape as Loaded in the Dell Power Vault 122T even though the tape has been manually unloaded. Thus, no all jobs are queued. The software indicates that there are no available devices.

I've already turned off the Backup Drive & even restarted the server. However, as soon as I ran the program again, it still "sees" the tape as loaded on the the drive. This occurred the server hanged and a backup job was still running.

Any time you change the tapes manually you need to inventory the library/drive. This will let backup exec know if there are tapes present or not.
