Is there a way to stop automatic retries on mssql backups. We have a sql backup that was running and on the last two databases to back up it failed so it started the backup over again from the beginning. The first backup took about 12 hours so we just wanted it to not run again if it fails. We're familiar with Etrack Incident ET867730 but didnt specify any retries. Also this is just for sql backups, for our flat file backups we wanted it to try to run twice so we didnt want to change any settings on our master server. I noticed that new batch files are being created in Mssql/temp on the client but were not sure why since no option to retry is specified in the batch file.
