VERISTAS CHANGE MEIDA

HELLO:
I am new in Veritas, I have the veritas 3.4 bussiness server with SUN L9 tape backup, which holds 9 tapes, After the installation I started doing backup full and incremental, untill all the tape are full.
I put new tapes, I did inventory of tape, but I guess I need to do catlog of tapes before schedule backup can write to tape!? How do you that thru menu or commands

have you created your index (catalog) for "DR", to alternate between tapes, or tape and disk.

Once you have inserted your new tapes. go to media and device management, and perform inventory configuration update!!!

also with your tapes (media) dont foret that they must all be in the same "volume pool" in order to use for backup, san sun_full. use netbackup pool for catalog.
