Verisign and Miva Problem

Having some confusion with our store. We're using Verisign's PayFlow link with Miva 4.20 w.MVM4.10. Our problem seems to be that when a payment goes through, the bank (or perhaps Verisign) is initially accepting the card and sending back an OK, which goes back to Miva and Miva sends out confirmation that the order was completed.

2 seconds later, the bank sends back a void based on our AVS and CVV settings (which are pretty high to avoid fraud)...so the customer actually sees the Verisign rejection screen intiially, but then checks their email and sees the confirmation email saying that the order was placed. Hence the confusion.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? Any work arounds? Links to other forums maybe?

Thanks in advance
MJ

We use Payflow PRO, so I don't have any direct experience with Link.

The only workaround I can think of is to set the payment method to "offline", where the CC data is collected and stored in MM. Then you would manually run them through the PayFlow virtual terminal (assuming Link comes with that). Obviously not very practical for a busy store.

You might see if there are any third-party Link modules available; in the case of PayPal, the third-party mods work better than the built-in one.
