VERIO Web Hosting Bait & Switch (ASP/DB Problems)

To make a long story short, I contracted with Verio to host my web site on a NT platform. I wanted to use ASP and MS Access DB's.

As it turned out Verio was never able to keep my site from crashing due to a bug related to the use of Access DB's. My databases were less than 100kb.

Their only solution was for me to upgrade my account in order to use SQL DB's which doubled my cost. Further, they offered no discount or refund even when I pointed out that the service I purchased never worked.

Has anyone else experienced these problems with the Verio NT 1 Account?

They charged $50/mo to host my site on an NT platform and made me pay for 1 year in advance.

During the peak of my traffic, which is seasonal, I had the most problems and was forced to upgrade the account. This cost an additional $50/mo.

In a 6 month time frame I compiled over 100 case issues with their technical support dept. I had so many problems that it seemed I was on the phone with them every day.
