Can somone please give me the command to check my Sun Solaris version I have running? I know little about Unix/Sun commands, and cannot find an effective command in the manual...Thanks!

The command "uname -r" will give you the Solaris version number. Check the manpages "man uname" for more information on this command. Also, execute "cat /etc/release" to find out which 'Release' of the OS version you have.

Thanks, Crystalball07...Your timely help is much appreciated...It was exactly what I needed...
