verify db2 backups on different tape drives

Hi all:

Got a DR rehearsal coming up and need a question answered.

The question I have is with the backups. The backups are of a db2 database on AIX and the data is written to a IBM M2 tape drive (online backup). At Sungard they are going to provide a Exabyte 60.0 M2 tape drive for the rehearsal. A techie at Sungard indicated that the Exabyte might not be able to read a tape written with the IBM M2 drive and the AIX/db2 backup/restore utilities.

Anybody know of such an issue?
