I have just installed a couple of CICS with Ver 6.0 software on them, I noticed a couple of oddities for you to keep in mind and if anyone else has anything appropriate you can post it also.

The IRAD is automatically set to answer on CO 1 on 6 rings. The customer I had wanted AA to answer on 6 rings and the IRAD caught the calls first. easy enough to change but this is a differeence from earlier versions where the tech assigned the IRAD Answer as needed not defaulted.

analog Trunks are numbered 001-004 and 031-034 instead of 025-028. JerryReeve

How do you turn off the IRAD not to answer line 1? Because it is being used by the IRAD, I cant put line 1 to be answered by the ccr tree.

Go to SYSTEM PROGRAMMING, then REMOTE ACCESS, then IRAD, then ANSWER LINE. That will get you to the point of selecting a line or not, and how many rings.

I am having a similiar problem with CICS 6.0 whenever I try to record any AA greetings A-D I get a message saying "try later". Any ideas? Also System Answer is set to answer calls after three rings. When a caller calls in and gets the system greeting it then plays music on hold however the 4 stations all with access to incoming lines do not ring after system answer puts them on hold they just show a visiual indicator or a line on hold.
