Vendors ETL vs Oracler SQL+SQL loader

Hi All,
We have got a datawarehouse to deal with CRM data plus CDRS. There are some millions of records to update daily (up to 10 - from oracle to oracle remotely through a DB link); and about 30 millions records to insert through a DB lnk also.
We do that with OWB generated PL/SQL and custom SQL.

My question is what advantage can give informatica or ascential in ETL against our current configuration. Especially when talking of performance of extraction and load, could they do things better than oracle itself in an oracle database ?

using sqlldr to load will always be much much faster than using an ETL to load.
