veiw Virtual directory

I am using file:///c:\ to veiw a machines c: drive all well and good.

what i want to do is use file:/// to view a virtual directory on the IIs server.

Is it possible if so how

Is that not a hard way to go about it?

Why not just use the actual path to the directory? It will still show the same in a browser..

I can`t see how you could get a browser to show a virtual directory as a local file using the virtual path etc, the file would need to be accessed through the server in order for the virtual path to be included....
