Does any one know of a way to read the regisrty through the browser (IE 5.5,6.0, Netscape , Firefox etc...)upon connection to a web server in order to verify that a specific patch level has been applied? We would like to use a landing page to verify that a browser has the correct version of XML parser and path level before we redirect them to the login page of the app.
